KlustOS the Only Dedicated Cluster Operating System
KlustOS has been developed specifically as a clustering operating system, it's purpose when installed on a master is to provide the facility to attach, boot and manage numerous nodes which will form the cluster. KlustOS is a easy to customise operating system based on core concepts and designed to extract the maximum performance from the hardware. Every aspect of the system is compiled specifically for the architecture it is deployed upon and performance can be further optimised for specific cluster applications.
KlustOS is based on the Linux Kernel and uses the meta-distribution Gentoo for the majority of the low level system utilities. Virtually any program written to run on Linux will be able to run on KlustOS.
The key part of any High Performance Computing solution is the software which provides the various aspects of operating system, management tools and utilities as well as a stable and correctly configured build. KlustOS has a number of management utilities and applications designed to allow an administrator control and easy monitoring either remotely or locally.
KlustOS for Parallel Processing
Massively parallel processing allow an application to run across multiple machines, reducing the execution time dramatically.
A basic installation of KlustOS can provide Message Passing out of the box.
KlustOS for Batch Processing
By utilising queueing and batch processing intensive processing can be distributed across a cluster. This can slash the total time for queued processes to execute and by implementing a cluster in the beginning the system can be fault tolerant and scalable.

KlustOS for Grid Systems
Ainkaboot KlustOS has been designed to allow simple migration to Grid technologies and KlustOS can easily integrate into wide are Grids, manage the grid or provide a service to a local area grid, as well as plug-in to Ainkaboot Grid in the future.
KlustOS for High Availability
In a world increasingly relying on the availability of resources, most of which are digital it is imperative to ensure those resources are available, data safe and able to cope with demand.
